
Decsription: This contemporary console table was designed and handcrafted by our subsidiary company, The Global Craftsman. The trident style legs and supporting brackets are welded steel while the top is reclaimed tongue and groove heart pine flooring. The flooring is originally from the American Tobacco Company warehouses in North Carolina. The American Tobacco Company was founded in 1980 by J.B. Duke as a merger between a number of tobacco manufacturers and in 1896 became one of the original 12 members of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. In 1925 the company purchased 500 acres of pine forest in Reidsville, North Carolina. The trees were cut and the lumber milled into the flooring for the nearlty 90 warehouses that were then constructed on the site. Measures: 72" x 11.5" x 36" high.
